This is my third year teaching at Arlington, and I am very excited that the school year is underway! I teach Pre-AP Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Level 2 ELL science. I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a chemistry education degree, and I am currently working toward a Masters' Degree in science education from the U of M. I love working with high school age students and challenging them to think in new ways! My favorite things about teaching are when students ask great questions and are willing to help each other.
I got married in August 2007 to my high school sweetheart, and we live in St. Paul. Together, we enjoy biking, camping, following Twins' baseball, and trying new recipes. I also enjoy Yoga, cross-stitching, reading good books, having coffee with friends, baking, and traveling.
