| Ms. Hayman |  | Although I'm fairly new to teaching (this is my fourth year), I have tons of real world experience. I have an undergraduate degree in Engineering and spent 10 years solving mathematical kinds of problem in the corporate world. I also have a graduate degree in business and operations research...more number crunching. And I spent three years on the road consulting with large companies on the East Coast, Canada, and England.
Just so people won't call me a complete numbers geek ... I have taken a couple of English classes and I really love to look at art. Other things I love are watching outdoor baseball on a summer evening, blues music, and traveling. Last year I went to India for three weeks. This year I went to South America. Teaching math is a passion of mine, so is social reform - especially the criminal justice system.
I'm thrilled to be here at Arlington. And I've never worked with a bunch of better colleagues than our Math Department.
